The theatrical animated film 'Agami,' co-produced by NAMU Animation and Studio Meditation with a Pencil,
is set to showcase K-Animation worldwide at the 65th Annecy International Animation Film Festival,
the largest animation festival of its kind.
Following director Ahn Jae-huun's award-winning 'The Shaman' at the 2020 festival, anticipation is high for
his next project, based on the novel by Gu Byeongmo, 'Agami,' to elevate the status of Korean animation globally.
The animation film festival is scheduled to take place from June 9th to 15th, 2024, in the southeastern French
city of Annecy. The festival selects and screens new works in animation, including feature and short films,
TV movies and series, and educational programs.
In addition to film screenings, the festival also operates the Animation Project Market and Animation Film Market.
Various events and conferences are held, earning the festival the nickname 'Cannes Film Festival of Animation.'
